A Few Words About Rob

by admin on Aug.20, 2009, under Comments & Tributes

These couple of pages, can’t in any way hope to represent the huge personality that was our brother, but it’s the only way we can envisage to reach all those people who cared about him, were friends, relations or acquaintances of his.

We don’t intend this to be a permanent site; merely a short term indication to our parents Pat & Bill, of how much Rob was liked and respected in the big wide world.

If you want to post a comment; please go ahead many people already have done.

If you just want to read through, that’s cool too & thanks for stopping by!

Best wishes and thoughts from Myself and Tracy go to You all at this sad time. As you know we loved him dearly and are stunned, but also cannot comprehend how Pat & Bill and you all are feeling right now.

Our heart is bleeding for you.

So sorry to hear about Rob, I went to school with Rob although it was junior school, what a lasting impression of him I have. Always smiling and laughing.
I saw him quite a few times riding his bike and he always stopped for a few words. RIP my friend you will never be forgotten

Having known Rob for many years as Dave’s older brother my experience of Rob had been limited to him being “The Big Bad Wolf” at one of Dave’s junior school birthday parties. I am glad to say that I got to have a few pints and more importantly spent a good deal of time with Rob over the weekends of Dave’s Stag and Wedding weekends. I can honestly say that although Rob beat me in every activity that we did on the Stag weekend, the laugh I had with him along the way more than made up for losing to him.

My heart felt sympathy go to my friend Dave, his Mum, Dad, Brother Tony and anyone else who was part of Rob’s life.

It helps to see so many people saying so many positive things about somebody I was proud to call my friend. There are no words you can say that express what we all feel. Tears are what’s in everybody’s emotions, but in our hearts we will always remember the gentle giant with an infectious beaming smile. We will always love & miss you my friend.
